Default GIE.v Another Utica Gas play @.035cts?

This is probably the last of the cheap shares
on this one. Some pretty large bids coming in
and hitting the asks now. Something must be going
on or are people finally starting to realize these
guys are based out of Quebec and this Utica gas
discovery could be huge for GIE?
See you on the tape!

You are implying that this company is involved in finding gas in this gas field....this is laughable. This is a bio-remediation firm. They clean up messes. They have nothing to do with exploration for oil and gas, production of oil and gas or frankly anything to do with oil and gas in its earliest stages which is what this area is.

Here is a brief summary of this company.

Quote:
GIE Environment Technologies Ltd. (TSXV: GIE.V), a leading environmental decontamination company, today reported its first quarter results which ended December 31, 2007. All sales are in Canadian dollars unless otherwise indicated.

First quarter sales climbed by 20% to $241,103 compared to $200,533 for the same period last year. Net losses were reduced to $4,608 or $0.00023 per share compared to $10,979 or $0.00055 per share for the same quarter last year.
At $241,103 in gross sales....this is hardly a leader in the field of Bio-remediation. Perhaps they are a leader as far as publicly traded bio-remediation companies I am not sure.

I have some background in the Environment having been an Environmental analytical chemist at one point in my life and I recall discussing the cost associated with remediation of a pile of dirt with oil contamination the size of a large house I was told then (10 years ago it would cost about $250,000). The programs that these guys are involved in are pretty small if their gross sales are of the same magnitude.

the following are major consultants in the field of reclamation...they are private companies but this is what this company must compete against.

Levelton-- Site Assessment & Remediation Services

Sumas Environmental Services Inc.

Site Remediation - Trident Environmental Consultants

These are companies that have been in the business for many many years.

Here is the client list for GIE Environment Technologies Ltd.

GIE Environment - Clients

Oh yeah....heavy involvement in the Oil and Gas industry here!!! The last 2 Clients perhaps...but there are no details and I am willing bet these are gasoline station spill cleanups.

I wonder.....are you next going to TOUT every consultant based out of Montreal as a gas play????

This company shows no interest in this gas field on their website or in any news release I can find.

You will say, as you always do, that you never said that this company was in Oil and Gas production....and you are right....in fact you provide very little hard information to support any of your posts and mislead people on what you do provide IMHO.

I think this one goes double digits from here because they are
in the right business at the right time. Not to mention Utica will
probably see about 7,500-8,000 drill holes dug over the coming
years. This is going to be a huge windfall for companies such as
GIE and they are the best in the industry according to there web
site. Judging by the client list Imperial Oil, Exxon, etc. etc. they
must be good at what they do. With a market cap. of only $800K,
cash on the balance sheet, no history of dilution or PP's, this looks
to good to be true at .035-.04cts.
I will wait for an indication of more buying to come in as it was only
one house doing the buying yesterday and if it comes I am in for a
lot more.

At $200,000.00 and a bit for revenue they have not done much of what they do. This play has nothing to do with Utica IMHO. It may be promoted as such to jack up the price...But I would stay away from this one personally.

Wow! What a run that was today. I knew that this was going
to get some action and buying interest once people realized
this was based in Quebec near the Utica discovery. But had no
idea we would tap .30cts. What a run and I hope we all got a ton
of this one early today. Made a bundle here today!
