Big Board Stocks - July 14

As I mentioned in a previous post, I'll only be making a list once a week from now on. I'll update as necessary, but it seems there's not point in posting a new list everyday of the week, since I usually stick with the position until the target is reached anyway, and that usually takes 4 - 5 days.

The story for the next two weeks, imo, should be solar. The solar stocks are all pretty much reversing on cue at a support level defined by a previous low. The past week, when the market's been getting rather bad news, the sector didn't fall below these levels, and instead, was consolidating - multiple doji and/or hammer closes in these charts. Indicators such as the MACD and TRIX, which are the slow indicators as per the settings in my chartbook, have bottomed and are reversing. The sector should technically be following the price of oil somewhat closely, but didn't keep up with the drastic rise in oil the past month or so. However, neither did the solars fall much with the drop we saw during the week.

With that said, I've made two bull-call spreads in my own portfolio and will wait on things for a week or so, by which time the targets will probably have been reached. If anything else important happens, I'll post an update.

AND HERE THEY ARE...

AKNS - stopped at 4.5's support, and is reversing now, from the looks of it. target will be the 50 MA.

ASTI - stopped at 8.20's resistance, and reversing now. target is ~12.50's, or 50 MA.

CSIQ - stopped at support ~31.00, reversing now, after many hammer closes, marking support level. target is about ~40.00, and 50 MA.

CSUN - big fall b/c of the public offering, as well as the sector's influence. reversing now at a support of ~6.50's. target of ~10.00, or 200 MA.

DSTI - stopped at downsloping neckline-continuation support of H and S bottom as indicated on chart perviously. first resistance at 200 MA (~4)

ESLR - stopped at upsloping ascending triangle trendline at about ~8.40. target at 12, with soft resistance at the 50 MA.

LDK - stopped right at support of ~31. now reversing, and target is 40, and then 45.

SOL - filled the gap, and now reversing for a target of the 50 MA.

TSL - stopped right at support of about ~28. target of about 40.00 or 50 MA.

YGE - stopped at support of 13.20's. target at 24.00, or 200 MA.
