This is not a stock that I would consider...I must confess though that I don't like to gamble and I don't have a fondness for gold stocks....so I am biased in my look at this stock

Gold is at historic highs ....and a company with an 8 year history...or more, tumbles...losing almost half its value now??? What is it going to do if Gold slumps???

Financial Results

- Net loss for 2007 was $12.0 million, or $0.05 per share, compared to net income of $31.0 million, or $0.13 per share in 2006. The 2006 results reflected a one time non-cash gain related to the sale of High River's share of the New Britannia Mine. The 2007 loss resulted from higher mining costs, higher interest costs related to increased project debt, and a new non-cash expense "Fair value adjustments to financial instruments" related to the adoption of new accounting standards

There is something wrong with this company....these are good times for Gold

It is in free-fall right now...perhaps it is good for selling short, I don't know since I don't play that way.

Maybe there will be support at $1.20....StockCharts predicts $0.70 as its low point....maybe they are correct?

There are a lot better gold plays than this one IMHO....but if you are a gambler...it might appeal to you{shrug}

I think buying Metanor Resources MTO-X and Centamin Egypt CEE-T are excellent buys because these juniors are near producers have lot of upside considering I am really bullish on Gold.
